Due to budget reductions being implemented by the university, including
the suspension of several programs, the Certificate in Event Management
program will be affected by these reductions in the coming years. Students
beginning courses in the fall will be afforded the opportunity to complete
the certificate before the program closes.
The Certificate Program includes four courses of study. All courses require
a grade of C or higher. Courses can be taken in any order, with the exception
of LEI 5942 Event Practicum. This course requires prerequisites of LEI
5316, LEI 5317 and LEI 5563 prior to enrollment. Please note the final
course offerings to ensure your timely completion.
A completed application for the Event Management program must be received
prior to awarding of the certificate. The application will no longer be
available after May 1, 2010.
