University Board of Trustees to meet Oct. 31 - Nov. 1
The Florida State University Board of Trustees will hold a workshop on Monday, Oct. 31, to hear several presentations, including one on the idea of making Florida State a leader in the field of "Successful Longevity," or helping people to live longer lives.

The board will hold committee meetings on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the Florida State University Alumni Association. Finance, Business & Audit will meet in the Cottrell Conference Room; Student Affairs will meet in the Joanos Conference Room; and Academic Affairs will meet in the Pearl Tyner House. All committee meetings are from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m.
The general meeting of the Board of Trustees will follow, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The trustees will consider several items, including approval of student fees and other administrative matters.
