TEDxFSU is inspired by TED, a nonprofit organization devoted to the concept of "ideas worth spreading." The now-global organization started out in 1984 as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: technology, entertainment and design. Since then, its scope has become ever broader. At TEDx events, a screening of "TED Talks" videos and live presenters spark deep conversation and connections.
"TEDxFSU: Revelations to Revolutions" event is sponsored by Florida State University students, faculty and staff, members of the community, FSU's Center for Leadership and Civic Education, and the Student Government Association's Office of Servant Leadership.
